That’s what I had to say about Cy Dethan’s Cancertown: An Inconvenient Tooth back when it was released some three years ago…is it really that long? What can I say, I’m a fan, so I’m more than a little excited to see that Cancertown is back with Cancertown 2: Blasphemous Tumours. There’s a new artist on board in the form of Graeme Howard, replacing Inconvenient Tooth’s Stephen Downey but other than that it looks like business as usual in the town that Cancer built, here’s the rundown…

Six months after the events of Cancertown: An Inconvenient Tooth, Vince Morley is a dangerously sick man. Bugfuck is in a psychiatric hospital, sticky fingers picking through the darkest corners of the mind that brought Cancertown into existence. The crossing points between Morley’s two realities are wearing thin and all the rules are changing.

Within Cancertown, something new has appeared – a creature of horrific violence and limitless rage. The foundations are shaking and the old powers are falling, one by one.
