Of all these titles there is only one I am super interested in, Rick Remender on Captain America. This will be Remender’s highest profile Marvel work to date and I cannot wait, everything he touches turns to gold as far as I’m concerned, one thing is for sure, his run should be pretty different to Ed Brubaker’s run. Waid and Yu on Indestructible Hulk has me tempted but I can’t say I won’t miss Jason Aaron’s Hulk, it feels like he was just getting started. Speaking of Jason Aaron his Thor could be worth taking a look as he’s one of those writers that always finds an interesting angle and with his Scalped work coming to an end (gutted) he should have more time to spend on his Marvel titles. We have to give local boy Kieorn Gillen a chance on Iron Man but I really didn’t enjoy his Uncanny X-Men and Greg Land is almost the devil in my eyes. I have always been a huge X-Men fan but X-Men: Legacy has never been the title for me, maybe Si Spurrier can turn that around? One thing is for sure, the Mike Del Mundo cover is not only my personal favourite out of this list of titles but one of the best covers I’ve seen in a long time, very clever use of old art to show who Legion is…and isn’t.

  1. As marvel renumber titles every 2nd week, this whole NOW! thing kinda falls flat on its face.
That being said, I may try fantastic four as I like bagley’s art and his style should suit the title. As I only read 1 marvel book at present, I guess that’s a win for marvel!

Wit friends of Marvel like you who needs enemies eh? ;-)

I know what you mean though, cannot see Marvel making as big a splash with this Marvel Now! event as DC did with the DC New 52
