Deadpool #50 Cover

I don’t believe it for a second but Marvel are trying to convince us that Deadpool may be making his final inappropriate quip.  I’m just using the press release they sent around today as an excuse to show this awesome Dave Johnson cover, it’s deliciously red, it’s got Uncanny X-Force on the front and Deapool’s samurai sword…what else could you want?!

Marvel had this to say about it:

Could this be it? Has everyone’s favorite Merc With A Mouth finally made an appointment with Lady Death? This February, witness the biggest change in Deadpool’s life as “DEAD” kicks off in Deadpool #50! From the creative team of Daniel Way & Carlo Barberi, Deadpool’s lease on life is about to expire and those around him are going to feel the consequences including X-Force! Following the epic battle with his former body parts gone rogue, Wade Wilson makes a monumental decision that will forever change who he is. See how it all goes down this February, in Deadpool #50!

I like this cover so much in fact that I’m going to show it again, in all it’s full size awesomeness.Deadpool #50 Cover

That is a pretty sweet cover.

Daniel Way has said that his run ends at #55. My theory is that this arc will the spiritual sequal to Circle Chase.

I like the idea of that, good call Doc

I mispoke- what he said was that he hadn’t planned anything after #55. However, do to the language in the solicit- that this will “kick off” something- I think it’s a fair assumptioin that we have at least a few more issues to go.
